Good afternoon family and friends!!
We're bringing a very unique and special opportunity to the table. We noticed there is a large gap in our community with the sport I hold dear to my heart, basketball, and I am deeply committed to driving the change that is needed. My vision is to create an inclusive environment for young children to grow their understanding and passion for the game of basketball.
We teach our kids how to play and how to have fun. We focus on fundamentals and IQ while simultaneously creating a culture where the child’s creativity in the game is not only welcomed, but celebrated. At Incline, there are NO CEILINGS.
With that being said, we have decided to develop our children's instincts of the game. We want to allow them to grow and learn to “just play.”
Objectives:
1). Skill Building
Players & shooters are made in the off-season not during the season. This is when we overemphasize the importance of the basics and build the kids from the ground up. Starting with footwork, confidence, spacing, defense and ball movement to list a few.
2). Use “game time” to apply skills learned and develop the instincts of the game. (How to move without the ball, how to read & react to defense etc.)
We will be starting these sessions Sunday, March 20th. $10 for entry at the door.
Sundays:
4th/5th Boys 2:00-3:00 pm
2nd/3rd Boys 3:30-4:30 pm
2nd/3rd Girls 5:00-6:00 pm
